Draft. This text sets out how the website works technically. The final wording and its approval belong to NOE and its counsel.

Contact form

Data collected: your name and email, and optionally telephone, company and subject; your message; the language and page you sent it from; the version of this notice. No IP address and no browser details are stored.
Purpose and legal basis: answering your enquiry and pre-contractual steps (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)); protecting the form from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Where it is stored: Google Cloud Firestore in a European Union data centre (Belgium, europe-west1), and as an email in NOE’s mailboxes (Microsoft 365).
How long: 24 months, then deleted automatically. The same period applies to the copies in the mailboxes.
Recipients: NOE staff; Google (hosting and database) and Microsoft (email) as processors; NOE’s technical contractor for website maintenance.

Statistics (Google Analytics)

Only with your consent. Without it, Google Analytics is not loaded and no statistics cookie is set.
Cookies: _ga and _ga_<id>, lasting up to 2 years. Data in Google Analytics is kept according to the retention setting of NOE’s Google Analytics property (2 or 14 months).
Google receives the data and may transfer it to the USA (adequacy decision (EU) 2023/1795, with standard contractual clauses as a fallback).
You can withdraw consent at any time from the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Necessary storage

Your cookie choice is stored in your browser (localStorage) so we do not ask on every page. We ask again after 12 months or when this notice changes.

Hosting logs

Google Firebase Hosting records technical request data (for example IP address and browser) to run and secure the service. Google’s content delivery network operates worldwide. Some Google Cloud audit logs are kept for up to 400 days outside the EU.

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Email us at info@noe.gr. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
